1-tert-butyl 2-methyl 2,5-dihydro -1H-chrrole-1, 2-dicarboxylate is an organic compound with the chemical formula C14H19NO4, often referred to as Boc-DPHE-OMe or Boc-DPhe-OCH3. It has the following properties:

2. The Boc-3, 4-dehydro-L-proline is then reacted with methanol to produce 1-tert-butyl 2-methyl 2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-1,2-dicarboxylate.
